Homemade Gift Ideas & How-To’s
**NOTE: This page is in process of completion. However, please do take a look at what I have here already, and be sure to check back in the next week or two for lots more amazing gift ideas you can make in a day!
Have you been considering making holiday gifts this year?
This is a really great idea, whether your main reasoning is to save money, give healthy & natural gifts, or to be able to personalize a special present for someone.
Calendula oil is easy to make, and is an amazing massage oil. Scented with a beautiful blend of essential oils and packaged in a pretty bottle….it’s a winner!
I once asked my Healing Harvest Homestead Facebook page group about how they felt about homemade gifts.
Overwhelmingly, people said they loved and preferred homemade gifts!
One of the reasons given was that they felt that a homemade gift meant the giver really was thinking about them…because it came from their own two hands.
Another reason was because they felt the gift was truly more meaningful. Many people said these kinds of gifts were things they would keep forever, and perhaps even pass down as an heirloom (like my mom’s quilts).
Another reason some folks gave, very considerately, I might add, was about the financial aspect. Quite a few people said that because the gift was handmade, they knew the giver didn’t put themselves in financial harm by spending a lot of money. Thoughtful on both ends, if you ask me!
I thought I’d create this page to give you some ideas for making your own homemade gifts this holiday season! I’ve categorized them so you can find things easily, too.
These cocoa-tangerine lotion bars are just incredible for the health of your skin and cuticles. Men even love these! And….if you have cracked heels, these lotion bars are the solution!
