The Gift of Herbal Education
Sometimes the best gift isn’t something physical. When you give the gift of education, you’re giving your loved one an investment in themselves to learn. If you know your friend or family member desires to learn herbalism, I have the perfect course: Ditch the Drugstore or the Family Herbalist Certification option. Find out more here.
Herbal Chocolates
Believe it or not.....chocolate is GOOD for you! It's actually an herb! Cacao is the source of all chocolate, and the darker it is, the better it is for you. Plus---it makes you happy! So, here are some homemade chocolate recipes you can make:

Herbal Essential Oils for Valentine's Day
*** Honestly, there are a couple of essential oil blends I'm madly in love with right now. The first one is Love Vanilla by Plant Therapy. It's warm and sweet, but not cloying. I've been using it every single day for the past two weeks! I can't get enough of it!
*** Do you love citrus? How about Rocky Mountain Oils’ Citrus Passion blend? It’s incredibly uplifting and another great idea for the person who is struggling with stress or anxiety right now.
*** Another great choice is Spiritual Awakening Blend by Amrita Aromatherapy. It’s deep and grounding scent is a great choice for both women and men, containing sandalwood, frankincense, and atlas cedar. SO good!
*** And from Starwest Botanicals, how about their Love Essence Oil? This is a blend of aphrodisiac essential oils (rose, ylang ylang, and many others) are skillfully blended into exceptional carrier oils of sunflower and tamanu. This is not one for your diffuser, but instead useful for massing small areas or as a perfume.
Herbal Gifts for Men
Oooohhhh, those men in our lives! Aren't they just so hard to buy for? Or make things for? :-) It's always a struggle. It's easy to give underwear and socks, because they can't have enough of these....but what about a really cool gift for the guy in your life? Here are some ideas:
*** From Kelly at Simple Life Mom: There's Natural Homemade After Shave, and how about some Beard Conditioning Oil?
How about handmade soap for your guy?

Sexy Wild Man is scented with Cedarwood, Cinnamon & Lemongrass and is just divine. Hard Hunk O' Man is Pine scented with a touch of refreshing Peppermint. Your guy will love one or both of these!

Gifts for the Home:

Needlecraft & Sewing:
Here are two excellent gifts that require a little skill, but if you can sew or knit, these are great ideas:
*** Easy Sew Headache Pillow & Sinus Aid----I LOVE this. My friend Lisa, over at Feathers in the Woods, shares this herbal pillow, and it works!
*** And everyone could use a good scarf. My friend, Victoria, over at A Modern Homestead, shares how she makes a Cable Knit Scarf. I wish I had those skills---and if you do, I can tell you, everything Victoria does is excellent, so this will be a great pattern.
